Welcome to the world of AMBER MICHAELA!

 

I hold a BA with HONS in Media Practice specialising in Communication Design 

from the University of Sussex. I have three extensive years of experience in a professional 

environment gained through many internships in design agencies during my degree (something I would highly recommend for anyone entering the creative industry) having worked three part-time jobs whilst still successfully submitting assignments with strict deadlines, i'm the queen of getting s**t done!

I have experience as a child carer abroad, (honestly something I never thought I would get into) in Geneva, Switzerland. This experience was my initiation to adulthood and not one I regret because of that very reason however the trials and hardship I had to overcome have shaped me into person I am today. 

 

My name is Amber Michaela (Michaela being the female version of Michael, and my fathers name being Michael Jackson) so the name became the title of my blog.

My blog initially was created to focuses on my life as a nanny in Geneva, travelling, document weekends breaks and of course my hobby - fashion and makeup - as it's what I spend 80% my money on (the other 20% is going towards saving for a deposit!). I enjoy and take pride in good quality over inexpensive, high street pieces.

I am a girl who puts 110% into everything, I am motivated by plans and goals to continually afford nice things. I am proud to say, i've never gone into my overdrafts and paid my credit cards on time, which is more then I can say for 60% of my university friends!

​

I love to travel which is documented throughout out my social media (@iamambermichaela), My desire is that it is a a place for you to go and be inspired about the best ways to travel, where to stay, where to go and share my outfits along the way.

I share my personal life with you, my boyfriend Jack and my creativity (through fashion, photography, illustrations) My blog is a destination to enjoy fashion, travel, food and my lifestyle in general.

I used to have a sucsessful Blog 'Style By Amber' years ago which I pored my heart into, then blogging became a 'fashion' which made me want to stop! But I love it, so I no longer care - I put a lot of my time and effort into my blog so feel free to comment on any article and ask me to write about something you,want to see.
